Change closed entities to a polyline

PostPosted by David S. » Sun Jul 26, 2015 10:23 pm

I have been trying to switch to doing more polylines lately to streamline my drawings and am happy. One thing I would love to know is the trick to change a group of closed entities into a polyline. I do this in Acad easily so I am sure General can do it too somehow. Forgot to mention I am using version 11.1.28

That works for me, thanks! (added in version 9) I am too much a creature of habit.

Now, after some caffeine this morning remember why I stopped using polylines so much. Snaps that I use mostly, being SP and SL won't work on a polyline. Too much trouble to explode, draw then JN.

Bjorn,

Thank you for making me aware of the JN command to create a Poly Line. This JN Command will be very useful in the way I create my Survey Maps. (Another Tool for my Tool Box). GCP is incredible.

Patrick,

Instead of SL, try OT on a polyline.
